Shania Lim is a photographer and art director who specialises in luxury and fashion. Born in Singapore and based in Paris, she is currently an art director in leading luxury communications agency Mazarine Digital, working on innovation-driven projects for digital and physical experiences within the Creative Intelligence department for clients such as Cartier, Balmain, Dior and more.

During her year as a freelancer in 2022, she spent her time back and forth between Paris and Singapore, working closely with small couturiers as well as musical artists on various projects such behind the scenes documentation, album releases, campaigns, lookbooks and more. She also worked on various commissions on fashion campaigns for brands such as L’eclaireur, Sandrine Phillippe, Spades Room, DIEM Paris and more.

Prior to Paris in 2020, Shania founded the accessory brand 28MM as a merger of her love for silver and design. What started off as an online boutique grew quicky and within slightly over a year, the team had expanded the business into brick and mortar. 28MM Studios was born a ring-making workshop with a retail branch, conducting classes regularly as the business grows. Today, she oversees the social media direction of both businesses while exploring her other interest.

Shania prides herself in being a multi-disciplinary artist, pushing beyond the boundaries of a single medium. This approach has been recognised by brands such as Jacquemus, having been comissioned as an artist for their S/S20 Collection, as well as Vogue for a mixed media feature.

As someone who firmly believes in the power of collaboration, she is constantly on the hunt for potential collaborators and new creative opportunities so if you’re one of them, don’t hesitate to get in touch and say hi!
